Getting a truck to you

We run I-5 north from the Dome to exit 143 for 320th Street, or take SR-509 and Dash Point Road when the address sits on the west bluff. Figure twenty to thirty minutes with traffic. The bluff streets near Redondo and Dash Point are steep and narrow with tight switchback turns, so we size down there. Apartment complexes need a parking space coned off before we arrive.

Permits, streets and placement in Federal Way

On a private driveway in Federal Way you generally do not need a municipal permit. Placement in the public street or right-of-way is a different matter and normally requires approval — from the borough or township where the road is locally maintained, or from WSDOT where it is a state route.
